College of Divinity International, CDI is an affiliate of Real Life Christian College and Seminary, Lagos Nigeria and Mennonite Bible School, Mthatha, South Africa. CDI runs ministerial degrees with main focus on divinity and spiritual leadership. We offer online courses with flexible payment terms and convenient study time. We offer certificate, diploma and degree certifications.


Divinity is the study of Christian and other theology and ministry at a school, divinity school, university, or seminary. The term is sometimes a synonym for theology as an academic, speculative pursuit, and sometimes is used for the study of applied theology and ministry to make a distinction between that and academic theology. It most often refers to Christian study which is linked with the professional degrees for ordained ministry or related work, though it is also used in an academic setting by other faith traditions.

Studying divinity usually leads to the awarding of an academic degree or a professional degree. Such degrees, particularly in modern times the Master of Divinity, are prerequisites for ordained ministry in most Christian denominations and many other faith communities. The exception to this is all "plain" churches such as the Amish, Old German Baptist Brethren, Old Order Mennonite, Dunkard Brethren, and many others. In fact, such churches hold to the belief that seminaries are an institution of man and not supported by Holy Scripture. Students earn such degrees at a free-standing seminary, theologate or divinity school, or at a university.

FACULTY MEMBERS


The core Faculty "establishment" consists of all the Seminary Officers with a post established in the Faculty: the Teaching Officers and the Computer Officer, supported by the affiliated lecturers, and other teaching assistance.


In addition, there are sometimes other lecturers and teaching assistants, who are also listed in academic staff.


The graduate student body is an integral part of the Faculty, collaborating closely with their supervisors as they carry out important and original research.


Academic Advisors from other institutions worldwide work in the Faculty and other libraries and institutions for periods of up to a year.


The Faculty's governing body is the Faculty Board of Divinity. In practice, much of the day-to-day governance work is carried out by its various committees and working groups.


College of Divinity International,CDI is a complex place, and you will find that many people have more than one responsibility in more than one place, and are listed in many categories. This is quite normal!
